Dirt TV Competition
In 2014 The South Australian Chamber of Minerals and Energy (SACOME) developed the Dirt TV competition – a first for Australia. Students from years 7 to 12 were invited to submit their video entry.
Based on the Ontario Mining Association's (OMA) So You Think You Know Mining initiative - now in its sixth year - Dirt TV aims to inspire a similar standard and style of videos, showcasing the benefits of the South Australian resources sector to the wider community.
This is a wonderful initiative that provides a fun and creative opportunity for students to learn about how mining benifits the community, and also gives them an opportunity to win a bit cash.
